[UPDATE] Minor insecurity issue and other things
I pretty much abandoned this blog instead of writing the types of topics that I’d like to write on my list before, haven’t I? There are reasons, plenty of them. And in addition to those other reasons, 1 I also lost motivation in blogging altogether, whether it’d be about J-Pop, favorite groups like MADKID, JO1, etc., or even some semi-personal ongoings. All I can say to all of this is that the more this year is going down the pits, the more ungrateful and cruel people are becoming. There is also a very minor technical issue, but can also be a potential mishap that can ruin this blog 2 that I felt uncomfortable blogging about anything until I get rid of this nasty blister off of this site. 3
For some, this may not be a big deal, but for others like me who are concerned about DDoS attacks, viruses, spam, etc., this can be a pain in the ass. I spent a lot of time doing art therapy through a number of art courses, and a little bit of code studies. Even with too much studying and too much spending time on art, even my mind can get very exhausted too. You know exactly what you want to do the next day and when that day comes, you no longer have that motivation anymore.
This has been happening to me the entire month of July and even so right now in August. I just no longer have any motivation anymore… until today. I’ll spare the details on the tech issues, as I’ve already fixed it and don’t want to deal with it ever again. 4
This blog was rebuilt from its original intent: Asian pop cultures and Asian American life. Then I converted it to a general J-Pop blog aiming to those who are new to J-Pop in general, specifically those coming from K-Pop fandom. Now, I don’t know anymore.
I do have a few ideas on how to get this blog going again:
- CD/DVD reviews of new releases from my favorite J-Pop artists
- Personal opinions on certain issues that may be related to my favorite J-Pop artists
- The usual insights and guides on how the J-Pop industry works, etc.
I’ll also keep updating the terminology section when needed.
Now the issue here is how I’m going to promote this blog, since my Twitter account is now on private. Even if I do plan on being a public Twitter again, I don’t plan on going on public anytime soon.
Till next time.
